Installation & replacement

HVAC Installation & Replacement — When Work Becomes Craftsmanship

Our goal is to properly select the equipment, install it according to industry standards, and ensure the system operates safely, reliably, and efficiently.

Two technicians can install the same air conditioning system: one simply to make it “run,” the other in a way that the customer is still satisfied 10 years later.

The second approach is what true craftsmanship means.

  • We follow building codes and manufacturer installation requirements.
  • Proper equipment sizing and system selection.
  • 15 years of hands-on experience with residential and commercial HVAC systems, including 5 years working with HVAC systems in the United States.
  • Engineering-focused approach.
  • For us, every project is responsibility for the final result — not just another job on the schedule.
  • Free on-site visit for project evaluation and estimate preparation.

Before you choose a contractor

I Was Offered a Price 2–3 Times Lower. What Does a Good Contractor Think About?

Over the years working in HVAC, we have seen that a large portion of service calls are the result of improper or even unsafe installations. Very often, these problems appear after a “cheap installation” that initially seems like savings, but later leads to system rework, repairs, and additional expenses.

Don’t Choose Based Only on the Lowest Price

Average market pricing is usually not random. A good contractor accounts not only for the cost of the equipment, but also for quality installation, safety, proper system startup, and minimizing future problems.

Extremely low pricing often means important installation steps are simplified, partially skipped, or completed using lower-quality materials.

Cheap Installation Can End Up Costing More

To a non-professional, a cheap installation and a quality installation may look the same from the outside. The real difference is in the details: pressure testing, vacuuming, drainage, electrical work, communication line protection, and proper system startup.

These installation stages are often what determine the reliability, safety, and lifespan of the system.

A Good Contractor Thinks About the Entire System

A professional contractor considers not only the installation itself, but also proper system sizing, material quality, future service accessibility, wiring layouts, communication line protection, proper system startup, long-term equipment reliability, and the overall appearance of the installation.

What cheap installs really cost

Real Service Call Cases After Cheap Third-Party Installations

Swipe · 6 real cases

Case #01

Previous Contractor
Installation of a 4-zone Multi-Zone System
Initial “Savings”
Installation price was 30% below the average market rate
What Happened
1. The system was not cooling properly2. The system was shutting down with an error shortly after startup
What NARTA HVAC Corrected
Wiring connection issues, insufficient refrigerant level, and drainage problems on one of the indoor units
Result
The cost of corrective work eliminated the initial “savings”
Lost Time & Comfort
More than 2 weeks without proper air conditioning during extreme heat

Case #02

Previous Contractor
Installation of a 2-zone Multi-Zone System
Initial “Savings”
Installation price was 40% below the average market rate
What Happened
1. One indoor unit was leaking water down the wall2. One of the indoor units was installed with the airflow directed toward the sleeping area
What NARTA HVAC Corrected
Incorrect slope of the indoor unit and drain line was corrected, and one of the indoor units was relocated to a different position.
Result
The cost of corrective work exceeded the initial “savings”
Additional Consequences
Reinstallation of the indoor unit and additional interior finish repairs were required

Case #03

Previous Contractor
Installation of a 3-zone Multi-Zone System
Initial “Savings”
Installation cost was unknown, however multiple installation requirement violations were identified during inspection.
What Happened
The system stopped operating reliably in heating mode.
What NARTA HVAC Corrected
Leak search was performed, the refrigerant leak was repaired, and the system was re-evacuated and recharged.
Result
The cost of corrective work approached the cost of a new basic installation.

Additional work inside the apartment after the renovation had already been completed and furniture was installed.

Case #04

Previous Contractor
Installation of a Central AC System
Initial “Savings”
Installation price was 25% below the average market rate
What Happened
A condensate leak developed in the system, resulting in ceiling damage. In addition, there was no overflow safety protection installed for the drain system.
What NARTA HVAC Corrected
An improperly installed drain system was corrected, overflow protection was installed, and condensate drainage performance was verified.
Result
The cost of corrective work and ceiling restoration exceeded the initial “savings.”
Additional Consequences

Result
Correcting the installation issues could require additional electrical work, significantly reducing the initial “savings.”
Potential Risks
Increased load on the existing electrical circuit and risk of damage to the equipment or electrical wiring.

Case #06

Previous Contractor
Split System Installation
Initial “Savings”
Installation price was 30% below the average market rate
What Happened
The system was not providing cooling after installation.
What NARTA HVAC Corrected
Errors in interconnecting communication wiring were identified. Wiring connections were corrected and the system was restarted.
Result
The cost of corrective work did not yet exceed the initial “savings,” however additional diagnostic and installation work was required.
Lost Time & Additional Work

The NARTA HVAC team was incredibly helpful with a small project to clean two of my window AC units. They responded within the hour to my inquiry and confirmed an appointment within one business day. They were on time and very easy to work with. They disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled my window units, showing me photos of the inside of the units. It was a seamless experience and will be back for future needs.

Very impressed with the guys. They replaced a faulty capacitor and cleaned the condenser coil, bringing our AC back to like-new performance. What could have turned into a full system replacement was resolved quickly and at a very fair price. Highly recommend.

I don’t really understand much about AC systems, but they explained everything in a simple way and made me feel comfortable. They checked both of my systems before the summer and found an issue in one of them, which they fixed. Everything is working great now. Thank you for the good work! I definitely recommend NARTA HVAC.

The heating in our restaurant stopped working. I called on Friday evening, and the next day the team came out and took a look at the system. They ran a full diagnostic, found a small issue and fixed it pretty quickly. They also gave some helpful recommendations on how to avoid this problem in the future. What I liked most is that NARTA HVAC focused on finding the exact cause of the problem instead of trying to replace everything. That actually saved me money. I'm planning to replace the whole system soon and will definitely work with them again.
